Grace and peace be unto you.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7).
I’ve been held captive by fear for such a
long time that it seemed normal.
Opportunities passed unnoticed,
Lord, I’m tired, drained, and discouraged,
I need to take a stand against fear.
I’ve lived in denial while making excuses,
Just fooling myself.
But no more, it is time to face my fear,
No more accommodating or feeding it,
My fear must be destroyed.
I’m ready to conquer my fear, to defeat the
power of evil.
Lord, I give you my fear and doubts,
And take on your courage and strength,
For I must conquer my fear.
I’m standing on your word and walking
in your power.
Tearing down the strong hold and defeating
fear,
Embracing your love and increasing my faith,
Lord, I’m conquering my fear.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:18).
