Grace and peace be unto you.
But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. (John 4:14).
As we go through life, we will experience various feelings, both positive and negative. It is important for us to remember that they do not define us or represent God’s view.
My Feeling: Alone
God’s Response: I am with you always even to the end of the world.
My Feeling: Uncertain
God’s Response: I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.
My Feeling: Afraid
God’s Response: Greater is he who is in you than he that is in the world.
My Feeling: Worry
God’s Response: Cast your care on me for nothing is too difficult for me.
My Feeling: Far From God
God’s Response: Draw near to me and I will draw near to you.
My Feeling: Powerless
God’s Response: Stand still and see my salvation.
My Feeling: Losing the fight
God’s Response: The battle is mine
My Feeling: Unloved
God’s Response: I love you with an everlasting love; my only Son died for you.
My Feeling: Unwanted
God’s Response: You are mine, I have called you by name.
My Feeling: Unattractive
God’s Response: You are wonderfully and fearfully made.
My Feeling: Hopeless
God’s Response: Do not put your faith in the wisdom of men, but in my power, for eyes have not seen nor ears heard the things I have prepared for you.
And he said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. (Revelation 21:6).
