Grace and peace be unto you.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8).
Are you assiduously trying to find a method or idea that will yield success? You are not alone, millions of people are doing the same thing. The good news is that God, your creator has the strategy that will work for you and is willing to share it. He has the vantage point of being All-Knowing (1 John 3:20). God knows the past, present, and future. Therefore, he knows the strategy that will bring you success.
The story is told that God instructed Joshua to take his whole army and attack the city of Ai because he had given it into his hands. He further added that they should set an ambush behind the city. Joshua divided his army into two groups. One group set an ambush behind Ai, while the other group advanced towards the city.
When the King of Ai saw the group that had advanced, he and all his men went out to fight them. He did not know about the group that had set up ambush. The group retreated and the men pursued them. Then, the group that was in the ambush attacked the city and set it on fire. The group that was retreating turned around and started fighting the men, and the group that was in the ambush joined the fight. The Israelites won the battle (Joshua 8:1-22).
God has a plan for your life and your success is attached to it. Are you living your life according to God’s plan? Scripture says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” (1 John 5:14). Ask God to reveal his divine assignments so you can obey and be successful. Maybe you know your divine assignments but need winning strategies, even so, God will help you.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5). Heavenly Father, thank you for your generosity. Grant us the wisdom to identify our divine assignments and strategies to ensure success. In Jesus’ name, amen.
