God Wants His Presence To Be Evident In Your Life.

Grace and peace be unto you.

So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land. (Joshua 6:27).

God promised that he would be with Joshua. His presence was evident through the miracles he performed and Joshua’s victories. Consequently, people talk about God’s work in Joshua’s life and he became famous. Fame was not Joshua’s goal but it is inevitable when we consistently obey God (John 6:2).

God promised to be with us always and he has kept his promise. But, is his presence evident in our lives? Do people talk about our Christian virtues or God’s power working through us? Scripture says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (Matthew 22:37). When we do, we study and obey his word regularly. Hence, we do good works, repent, pray without ceasing, and praise him continually.

Total obedience to God results in the manifestation of his power. For example, he told Peter to go to Cornelius’s house. Peter obeyed and shared the message of salvation. As a result, Cornelius and his household were saved, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke in tongues. God desires that you fully submit every aspect of your life to him and obey his commands. By so doing, his presence will be evident in your life.

Heavenly Father, help us to love you wholeheartedly so your presence is evident in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
