Your Miracle Is In Store

Grace and peace be unto you.

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Have you given up on receiving your miracle? God has not removed you from his list, he will give you that life-changing miracle. Nonetheless, he is asking you to wait a little longer and continue trusting him. The Bible says, “…if it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed” (Habakkuk 2:3).

Scripture says that Hannah could not have children and was frequently provoked by her husband’s other wife, Peninnah, who had children. As such, she wept bitterly and abstained from food when provoked. God felt her pain, had compassion on her, and opened her womb. Hannah received the miracle of a lifetime and had five children (1 Samuel 1 and 2). God will not despise a broken and repentant heart (Psalm 51:17).

God heard your prayers. He saw your tears, faithfulness, and good deeds. He is gracious and blesses you daily. However, your focus on the expected miracle has resulted in you overlooking his goodness and faithfulness. He desires that you recognize his daily blessings and give him thanks. He wants you to live a life of gratitude. The apostle Paul wrote, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

God yearns for the day when you praise him for who he is, rather than his blessings. This is one of the reasons for your seemingly delayed miracle. He desires that you love him wholeheartedly (Matthew 22:37), and willingly give up anything he asked. God is requesting that you shift your focus from the miracle to what he is currently doing in your life. Examine your desires, he works through them. Look at what is happening in your environment, he has tasks for you to do. Listen to the Holy Spirit, he will lead you in God’s perfect plan.

Your miracle is in store, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we praise you because you are the only true God. Thanks for your many blessings. Grant us the patience to wait for our miracle and the desire to please you. In Jesus’s Name. Amen.
