The journey continues…
Are you walking in your purpose? If no, what is hindering you? The Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). Thousands of years ago, Jesus died on Calvary to save us from our sins. This act of love means that sin has no power over us. Through the blood of Jesus we are victors, equipped to accomplish our purpose and destined to reign with Him on the final day.
When we accept the blessings that are associated with the shed blood of Jesus, we are empowered to live a victorious life. We hope that we do not sin, but if we do, we have the assurance that God will forgive us, The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
There are several blogs and teachings on the power of Jesus Christ, I have compiled four that might be of interest to you.
The blood of Jesus has given you everything you need for a godly and victorious life.
Through Jesus Christ, some of our blessings include, being justified, forgiven, healed, and access to the unmerited favor of God.
The blood of Jesus cleanse us from all our sins but we must accept his forgiveness to benefit. His blood has permanently wiped away our sins and has replaced the sacrifices of bulls and goats that were the norm in the Old Testament era.
The significance of the Blood of Jesus is traced to the Old Testament. The stories of Rahab, Cain and Abel, and Abraham, among others are used to indicate the blood’s importance.
Jesus wants you to know and understand your heritage in Him
The Bible encourages us to meditate on God’s Word, day and night (Joshua 1:8). All the information pertaining to the significance Jesus’ blood is in his Word, therefore, when we meditate on the scriptures frequently, we are constantly reminded of its power and will be a force with which to reckon.
Satan knows this and will do everything to prevent you from using the power of Christ (1 Peter 5:8). From the beginning of time, he has worked through people, for example, he persuaded Eve to eat the forbidden fruit. Many years later, he spoke through the apostle Peter and Jesus rebuked him (Mark 8:33). His strategy has not changed, hence you are to be vigilant. He might be behind the problem with that coworker or family member. I urge you, do not focus on the person, remember the power of the blood and apply it as necessary. The blood has the solution to all life’s problems. The Bible says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from me says the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).
